Payment Instructions & Notes
- The plan year is calculated from the date on which username and password for the particular account are assigned.
- Crossref user accounts are generally allocated to a particular journal. If a publication house has multiple journals, each journal may require a separate account.
- DOI can be assigned only to the articles of the particular journal for which the user account has been created.
- DOI usage exceeding the assigned limit will be liable for additional payment as per the applicable DOI plan or per-DOI addon price.
- For bulk DOI URL update, the journal must provide the DOI list with old and new article URLs in a clear file format.
- For OJS Crossref plugin setup, valid OJS admin access and Crossref account credentials are required.
- For non-OJS websites, article landing pages with unique URLs and proper metadata may be required before DOI assignment.
